Yes, we come out to meet you and your dog before the first walk. This gives you and your dog the chance to meet us, and for you to ask any questions face to face.

Not at all, in fact our secure paddock sessions are ideal for dogs who haven't yet mastered recall, they can still enjoy the fun of running free and playing with others but in a secure and fun environment.

Not at all, we understand that people have busy schedules and often the reason you need pet care is because you aren't there. Many of our clients will make arrangements for us to collect and return dogs in their absence or ask us to hold keys, which we are more than happy to do.

Absolutely. We aim to be as flexible as possible with our clients and won't ask you to commit to regular time slots or charge you to hold a regular spot.

We are fully first aid trained and carry first aid kits at all times. Should your pet sustain an injury whether on a walk or discovered at check-in we'll treat your pet and inform you immediately.

If you can not be reached and we feel its necessary, we will seek appropriate veterinary assistance from your designated vet or our local vet if you haven't specified one.

Here at Happy Tails we're not afraid of a bit of rain, and as long as its safe to do so we will be out there with the dogs.

Wherever possible we will also strive to offer a service through the hotter months by utilising more shaded areas.

We do have a hot weather policy, but we do offer earlier morning and late night walks and paddocks in more suitable temperatures. We also offer extra check-in sessions throughout the the day to ensure your pet has adequate toilet breaks, fresh air and plenty of water to keep them cool.

We do accept entire males here at Happy Tails and because of that bitches in season is at the owners discretion.

As long as we're made aware of the season happening, we can plan accordingly and ensure the dog is walked in a secure environment with no entire males on that session.

Alternatively we're more than happy to switch walks to check-in sessions where a dog is in season.

We'll send out invoices at the end of the month via email for any services provided.
